We love Fukuyama!

At the very end of the year of 2012, I went to a live of Fukuyama Masaharu (福山雅治) which was held in Yokohama(横浜). He has been very popular so long as a singer-songwriter, actor and cameraman, etc. not only in Japan but also in Asia. He produces a string of hits that everyone knows. He is also in movies and dramas, and in 2011 he finally played Sakamoto Ryoma(坂本龍馬), a hero of Japan, who contributed to the Meiji Restoration as a masterless samurai. Either you like or dislike, he is an icon.

Message from Fukuyama Masaharu at the live
His energetic live at the end of an year is famous and getting the ticket is difficult. But...luckily to me, I got it! The live performance was...sooooooo good. He was very cool and so service minded, even though he is a big star. He really tried to make people fun and touched by his great performance to the maximum extent possible. It was so much fun and impressive!! I think all women there gave heart to him and had water at the mouth as he was sexy:) I could get much power from him for tomorrow.

Here, I attach a song called "there was also in Tokyo", one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy and like him:)

SUMMER SONIC 2012

Summer Sonic(サマーソニック) is an annual music festival held in Tokyo and Osaka for two days inviting a lot of musicians from major to minor all over the world. I joined the Summer Sonic held in Tokyo on last Sunday with the aim of seeing Rihanna, Jamiroquai, Cardigans, Perfume (Japanese techno-pop units comprising three females) and others. I am still impressed by the spectacular even two days have passed. As a lot of artists performed at the same time in different stages, I couldn't see all, but I could enjoy listening all my favorites.
All the performances I saw were too wonderful to describe everything here. But I got much energy and power! Luckily to me, I was always standing on the front position of the arena and could feel the performance directly(and now I am suffering from muscle pain).

Perfume was really awesome. Their figures and dance are so cute but the songs are cool, as the mix of pops, house and techno, etc. They are one of the pop current icons in Japan.

Cardigans made me bring back some memories when I listened their albums at high school days. I felt they lost momentum a bit, but happy to see them in person after so long.

Jamiroquai was cool! J Kay was kept his youth as he was when he had became so popular at selling "Virtual Insanity." His sound is also still alive, which meets the feelings of the current time. I love the movements he makes on the stage. Very light and stylish.

In the end, Rihanna! Soooo cool and lovely! I totally fell in love with her. Her presence was the biggest among other artists. I was just happy to see and feel her in such a close distance (actually I was just about to die by crushing). She performed many songs from her latest and second latest albums and people became so high! I also kept jumping, dancing, shouting.. When the fireworks were shot off with her last song "We Found Love," the most exciting moments came! Wonderful night, and must go next year!

Gave my heart to GAGA

Last weekend, I and my sister went to LADY GAGA's "THE BORN THIS WAY BALL" held in Tokyo. That was....just incredible. I shook with emotion by her great performance and strong message (still, I' m deeply impressed and excited). No matter what, GAGA was cool, sweet and generous.  The stage set and dancers were also gorgeous, but only GAGA's presence stood out. I tried to catch all she tried to convey to us. I kept jumping, shouting, and dancing for more than 2 hours with GAGA and did not feel fatigue at all. That was special and happy moment for me.
Because of her fashion, it seems some people would see her as a freak or sexy icon (actually I saw news her lives were cancelled or protested in some other countries). But it is not true at all. Rather, I felt she is a very pure and serious women who likes music and has a strong faith. While she kept singing and dancing, she talked to us many times to express her message and feeling to her fans. She repeatedly told as that we should be confident as all of us are unique, special and perfect just as we are and we can be/do anything if we try best. Also, she showed repeatedly concern for Japanese who were affected by the big earthquake and tsunami last year. I cried.

I recalled memories that after the earthquake and tsunami hit Japan, people other than Japanese left Japan and nobody came to Japan in fear of aftershocks and nuclear plants affect. Even so, only GAGA came to Japan to cheer us up and her positive attitude consoled us so much. Either it was volunteer or commercial, we were very encouraged in fact and her action should be rewarded.

On her stage, I felt she really wanted to convey her condolence and support to people. Though her song and performance were super cool, such her generosity made me touched and I gave my heart to GAGA.

As I wanted to keep my memory fresh and just wanted to feel GAGA, I didn't take any picture or video. At the same time, I would like to share her great performance with others as much as possible. From You tube, please check and feel....

GAGA, please come back soon to Japan. Can't wait for the next ball....
