Authentic Italian dishes in Hongo

I and hubby regularly go to an Italian restaurant named "Cocogoloso" in Hongo. The restaurant is located on the the "football street", where there is the Japan Football Association. We can go there on foot in 15 minutes from home. Around Hongo, there are famous universities and major hospitals such as the University of Tokyo, the Tokyo Medical and Dental University, and others. Consequently, I notice many of the customers of the restaurant are doctors and professors. But the atmosphere is casual and the price is very reasonable.

The price of the set menu is only JPY2,300 per person. The menu includes appetizer, pasta, main dish and coffee.Bread is served free of charge. Of course, you can select your favorite one from wide variety of each category. The portion is so large that we can't eat up usually. Dessert is excluded but the price is around JPY500. Alcohol, particularly wines are very reasonable with good selections. We can enjoy a bottle 
of wine from JPY2,000. 

My rating is 4 out of 5. I' m always impressed by its value for money!
