I am impressed by the texture of that Wagyu. I'd guess not the fattier A5++ grade Wagyu. Perhaps A4, but the quality seems really great. Do you remember from what prefecture was that Wagyu? Thanks
ReplyDeleteDear S Lloyd san,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for checking the new post!
Happy to know you are also Wagyu lover:)
I don't know the exact grade of this wagyu, but yes, as you pointed out, it would not be the best grade of A5. It was tasty, but it seemed around 3. The wagyu was from Miyazaki Prefecture (宮崎県). Considering the price of menu, it seemed not a branded wagyu like Miyazaki-gyu. If high-grade wagyu or branded wagyu is used, the price is usually much higher or extra charge is necessary.
But this restaurant is conscientious cause they offer beef at this price setting in Ginza. Generally, chicken or pork is selected in the lunch below than JPY4,000 around the center Tokyo.
Many thanks!
