Delicate cakes in Nezu

"Patisserie Selener (パティスリーセレネー)" is the nearest cake shop to my house. As Selener faces the Shinobazu Street, you can easily find while walking around Nezu (根津) or going to the Ueno Zoo (上野動物園). Around here, as we have "Inamura Shozo (see previous visit)," a famous cake shop, Selener's name might not be so prevalent. Bu I think their cakes should be more evaluated.

Even though Selener is a local cake shop, they always prepare variety of beautiful fresh cakes as well as many baked confectionery. Like professionalism of Japanese artisans, their cakes are designed and created in a careful manner. Cool appearance of each cake attracts me very much. The taste itself might be not so striking, but definitely delicious. Palatable and delicate. Sweetness is moderate. The price is reasonable. Each cake costs around JPY400-500. My rating is 3.6 out of 5. Gochiso-samadeshita!
