Cakes of LADUREE

The other day, a surprised gift received from a charming friend of Myanmar was cakes of LADUREE(ラデュレ)! LADUREE is a long-established French patisserie and has started its business in Japan since around 2008. Their most famous specialty is a double-decker macaron. LADUREE's shops are like a fairyland with pastel-colors that girls adore.

Their cakes were definitely wonderful! As its taste is sophisticated, I ate up easily in spite of the big size.  Not so sweet. Balance of sweetness is very adequate. One of their popular cakes is "Saint-Honores Rose Raspberry", using an essence of rose. Usually I don't like so much desserts with rose flavor, but this was very good. The rose flavor did not harm the taste at all. Rather it was a good accent. Millufeuille was crispy and the rich butter taste was so nice. Gochiso-samadeshita! Many thanks:)
